The Libyan Coast Guard, operating under the General Command of the Armed Forces, announced the rescue of 91 irregular migrants who were stranded at sea aboard a dilapidated wooden boat off the Libyan coast.
According to the statement, the group included 42 Sudanese nationals, 45 Bangladeshis, and 10 Egyptians. The migrants were transported to a designated disembarkation point to receive necessary humanitarian assistance before legal procedures are undertaken.
