In affirmation of the General Command’s commitment to closely monitoring the conditions of citizens across all Libyan cities and regions—and as part of its ongoing policy of direct engagement with the public—Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander of the Libyan Armed Forces, conducted a visit to the city of Emssaad, as part of his nationwide “Journey of Loyalty.”
Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the city’s elders, dignitaries, and residents, who expressed their appreciation for the visit and the continuous attention shown by the General Command. They also reaffirmed their support for the Armed Forces and their role in safeguarding Libya’s security and stability.
During the gathering, Lt. Gen. Saddam Haftar conveyed the greetings of the General Commander, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu Al-Qasim Haftar, emphasizing that he was tasked with this visit to review living conditions and follow up on citizens’ needs.
He stressed that the current stage requires exceptional work and intensified efforts to ease the burdens on citizens, noting that no achievement holds value unless it positively impacts people’s daily lives. He further affirmed that the General Command’s development and reconstruction efforts will not be limited to a single city but will extend to all Libyan towns and villages—based on the principle that development is a right for all.
